Initial requirements Nurses MUST be working on NOW:
- Properly written CV with your application.
- Be financially prepared to do your credentialing which involves transcripts from your school and complete the application with CGFNS( the evaluation company ) to have transcripts evaluated and pay their fee .. about $459 now. The Link www.CGFNS.org
- If you have your Nyclex there’s something called ‘premium processing’, you can get into the US faster.
- You are more marketable if you have your credentials ready, especially NYCLEX.
if not start studying for Nyclex. - Apply for an international
passport. - Learn how to drive.
- Learn how to use a computer.
- Renew BLS, CPR, and ACLS if applicable.
